On January 11, 2024, ABB announced that it has acquired the Swiss-based startup Sevensense Robotics AG (Sevensense Robotics). Founded in 2018 as a spin-off from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Sevensense Robotics is a leading provider of AI-enabled 3D vision navigation technology for autonomous mobile robots (AMRs). The navigation technology developed by Sevensense Robotics enables AMRs to take intelligent decisions, differentiating between fixed and mobile objects in dynamic environments. ABB plans to continue offering this technology under the product name Sevensense across segments including material handling, cleaning and other service robotics fields. Sevensense has the potential to impact robotics far beyond AMRs, leading to greater efficiency, flexibility and accuracy throughout production and intralogistics.

On March 30, 2023, Implenia AG (SIX: IMPN), Switzerland&#8217;s leading real estate and construction service provider, announced that it had agreed to purchase Wincasa AG for CHF 171.6 m from Swiss Prime Site AG (SIX: SPSN). Wincasa is the leading Swiss real estate service provider with more than 250,000 managed properties, CHF 81 bn in assets under management and 1,350 employees (FTE). The closing of the transaction is planned for the second quarter of 2023, subject to regulatory approvals.
Homburger acts as counsel to Implenia. On March 8, 2023, Solenis announced that it has entered into a definitive merger agreement under which Solenis will acquire Diversey in an all-cash transaction valued at an enterprise value of approximately USD 4.6 bn. Upon completion of the merger, Diversey will become a private company.
Headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware, Solenis is a leading manufacturer of specialty chemicals used in water-intensive industries, which was acquired by Platinum Equity in 2021. Diversey is a leading provider of hygiene, infection prevention and cleaning solutions based in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
The transaction is expected to be completed in the second half of 2023, subject to customary closing conditions.
