DSAT: Free Data Protection Self-Assessment Tool released

DSAT, a new tool permitting companies to self-assess their data protection compliance under the upcoming EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and revised Swiss Data Protection Act (based on the current draft) has been released. Developed by Homburger counsel David Rosenthal with selected clients, it is now been made available to the public for free on its own website www.dsat.ch. Homburger associates Luca Dal Molin and Giulia Boccadoro assisted in its creation. Further content is to follow. In the first two days online it already recorded over 1’000 downloads. The editorial board is formed by David Rosenthal and David Vasella (Walder Wyss).
