On July 12, 2022, the Berlin-based insurtech wefox Holding AG announced that it has successfully reached an agreement for its Series D funding round, increasing its post-money valuation to USD 4.5 bn. The equity round was led by Mubadala Investment Company with participation from Eurazeo, LGT, Horizons Ventures, OMERS Ventures and Target Global.
wefox is a fully licensed digital insurance company that sells insurance through intermediaries and not directly to customers. wefox intends to use the funding for product development and to further expand across Europe and thereafter Asia and the US.

On June 22, 2022, Ahlström Capital, a Finnish family-owned investment company, announced the merger of Swiss-based company Enics AG with GPV International A/S, owned by Schouw &amp; Co., to create a European electronics giant.
On completion of the transaction, the two existing companies are expected to be organized under a newly-established holding company. The indicative enterprise value of the combined company is DKK 4.2 bn.
Homburger acted as Swiss legal counsel to Ahlström Capital. Homburger advised Ahlström Capital on the merger of Enics with GPV

On April 29, 2022, PwC announced that it has completed the sale of its global mobility services business, Vialto Partners, to Clayton, Dubilier &amp; Rice (CD&amp;R). Vialto Partners had previously operated within the PwC network as the Global Mobility Services business unit.
The enterprise value of the sold global mobility services business amounts to USD 2.2 bn.
Homburger acted as Swiss counsel to PwC.
