Lafarge – Holcim merger awarded with the 'Deal of the Decade' by Mergermarket

On December 9, 2016 Mergermarket announced the winners of the 2016 European M&A Awards taking place in London. The merger between Lafarge and Holcim has been honored with the accolade of “Deal of the Decade” due to the incredibly complex combination of two European strategic giants. This award was granted for the first time in the award’s 10 year history and the winner has been selected from a shortlist by audience vote.
