Homburger wins two IFLR Awards

At the IFLR’s European Awards ceremony, held on March 22, 2012, in London, Homburger has repeated last years’ success by being awarded again “Swiss Law Firm of the Year”. Taking home the national award for the sixth consecutive year and all in all for the eighth time, reflects Homburger’s leading role in some of the most demanding international finance deals of 2011. Homburger also won the Debt and Equity-linked Deal of the Year Award 2012 for advising Credit Suisse on the first issue of fully Basel III compliant Contigent Convertible Bonds (CoCos). The team was led by partner René Bösch (Financial Services) and comprised partners Daniel Haeberli (Financial Services), Markus Weidmann (Tax), Dieter Gericke (Corporate / M&A) and of counsel Dieter Zobl (Financial Services).International Financial Law Review (IFLR) recognizes annually the most innovative, international legal deals of the past year and the firms that completed them.
