Homburger honored with 5 LMG Life Sciences Awards

At the LMG Life Sciences EMEA Awards on June 4, 2026, Homburger was named «Equity Capital Markets Firm of the Year» and «National M&A Firm of the Year». In addition, Homburger received three «Impact Deal of the Year» awards.

The «Capital Markets & Financing Impact Deal» award recognized Homburger’s advice to BioVersys in connection with its IPO on SIX Swiss Exchange. The Homburger team was led by Dieter Gericke and Lorenzo Togni and included further specialists from the Corporate / M&A, Capital Markets, IP / IT, Employment and Executive Compensation, and Tax teams.

Homburger’s advice to EQT on its full exit from Galderma through several consecutive accelerated bookbuilding processes since Galderma’s IPO, on which Homburger had acted as lead counsel, was recognized with a further «Capital Markets & Financing Impact Deal» award. In addition to Frank Gerhard, Margrit Marti and Lorenzo Togni, lawyers from the Capital Markets, Tax and Competition teams were involved in the transaction.

The «Breakthrough, R&D and Collaboration Impact Deal» award recognized Homburger’s advice to Taiho Pharmaceutical on its acquisition of Swiss biotech company Araris Biotech, a developer of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). Led by David Oser and Richard Stäuber, the Homburger team brought together expertise from the Corporate / M&A, IP / IT, Tax, Employment and Executive Compensation, and Competition teams.

The LMG Life Sciences Awards recognize leading law firms and practitioners in the life sciences sector and honor particularly significant and innovative transactions in the industry.
