Homburger appoints new counsel in the field of Banking & Finance

The partners of Homburger have appointed Lee Saladino as counsel effective January 1, 2013. Lee Saladino is a member of Homburger’s Financial Services practice team and specializes in capital markets transactions, with a focus on advising Swiss and foreign clients in connection with cross-border securities offerings and share listings on the Swiss exchange.Lee Saladino obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University in 1997 and a law degree (Juris Doctor) from the University of Chicago Law School in 2004. After her studies, she worked as an associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York from 2004 to 2008 and joined Homburger as an associate in 2008. She was admitted to the bar of New York in 2005.Lee Saladino’s practice draws extensively on her U.S. legal background, which primarily involved representing initial purchasers and managing underwriters in connection with Rule 144A and Regulation S high-yield bond offerings, as well as lead arrangers and administrative agents in connection with the arrangement and syndication of senior secured credit facilities (with an emphasis on acquisition financing for private equity sponsors). Recent transactions in which Lee Saladino has been involved include advising UBS in connection with its offerings of subordinated loss-absorbing notes in February 2012 and August 2012, and Credit Suisse in connection with its offering of mandatory and contingent convertible securities in July 2012.
