Homburger advises KKR on the acquisition of Biosynth Carbosynth

On November 1, 2021, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co Ltd (KKR), announced that it has agreed to acquire Biosynth Carbosynth, a leading life sciences reagents as well as custom synthesis and manufacturing services company.

Homburger acts as Swiss counsel to KKR. The Homburger team is led by partner Dieter Gericke (Corporate / M&A) and includes partners Gregor Bühler (IP / IT, Employment and Executive Compensation), Reto Heuberger (Tax), Richard Stäuber (Competition, Regulatory), lead associate Marc Hanslin and associates Romain Fakhoury and Jasmin Künzle (all Corporate / M&A), Philippe Weber (Tax) and Florian Brunner (Competition, Regulatory).
