Homburger advises IKEA Centres in its divesture of 25 European shopping centres to Pradera

In a EUR 900 m transaction, Pradera acquires 25 shopping centres from IKEA Centres. The properties are located in Germany, France, Poland, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, the Czech Republic and Switzerland. The gross lettable area in the 25 retail parks amounts to approximately 538,000 square metres. IKEA Centres owns and develops meeting places all around the world, always next to an IKEA store. The deal is the first for the newly formed fund Pradera European Retail Parks SCSp, which is managed by Pradera.

IKEA Centres retained Mannheimer Swartling to act as lead counsel in the transaction. Local counsels were NautaDutilh, Castrén & Snellman, Wardynski & Partners, Havel, Holásek & Partners, De Pardieu Brocas Maffei, Plesner, kallan and Homburger.
