Homburger advises ASML on the planned sale of Berliner Glas Medical and SwissOptic

On October 19, 2021, ASML Holding NV (NASDAQ: ASML) announced that it has agreed to sell a 100% stake in BG Medical Applications GmbH, SwissOptic AG and SwissOptic Co., Ltd. to Jenoptik AG (Xetra: JEN). BG Medical Applications GmbH is a leading supplier of high-precision, custom optical components for the medical technology sector based in Berlin, Germany. SwissOptic is a specialist in the development and manufacturing of optical components and assemblies, primarily for the medical technology, semiconductor, and metrology industries headquartered in Heerbrugg, Switzerland.

Closing is expected in December 2021.
