Homburger advised WISeKey International Holding Ltd on its redomiciliation to the British Virgin Islands

The redomiciliation was implemented through a cross-border merger of WISeKey International Holding Ltd with and into its wholly owned British Virgin Islands subsidiary, WISeQey Corp. (formerly WISeKey International Corp.), with WISeQey Corp. as the surviving company. The merger redomiciles the group parent from Switzerland to the British Virgin Islands. Following completion, WISeQey Corp.’s ordinary shares are now trading under the ticker symbol WQEY on the Nasdaq Global Market in the United States and on the SIX Swiss Exchange, where they will continue to have their primary listing.
