Homburger advised the managers in connection with a private placement of newly issued shares in Basilea Pharmaceutica Ltd raising gross proceeds of CHF 45.8 m

On February 24, 2021, Basilea Pharmaceutica Ltd, a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company headquartered in Switzerland and listed on SIX Swiss Exchange, and each of Cantor Fitzgerald & Co., Credit Suisse AG, Bryan, Garnier & Co. Ltd and Bryan Garnier Securities SAS as managers announced a private placement of newly issued Basilea shares, raising gross proceeds of approximately CHF 45.8 m. The new shares, which account for approximately 7.7% of Basilea’s share capital, were placed with institutional investors by way of an accelerated bookbuilding procedure.
