Homburger advised the Institute of International Finance in connection with Project Agorá

Homburger acted as Swiss counsel to the Institute of International Finance (IIF) in connection with Project Agorá.

Project Agorá, a unique public-private collaboration convened by the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) and the Institute of International Finance (IIF), has demonstrated that tokenization can help to address inefficiencies in wholesale cross-border payments in a safe and secure manner through multi-currency settlement using tokenized central bank reserves and tokenized commercial bank deposits.

Homburger advised the IIF with regard to all Swiss legal and regulatory aspects of Project Agorá.
