Homburger advised entrepreneurial couple Dr. Sara and Christoph Hürlimann on the acquisition of SF-Filter Group

On September 22, 2026, the Swiss entrepreneurial couple Dr. Sara and Christoph Hürlimann acquired the SF-Filter Group, headquartered in Bachenbülach. The transaction was implemented by way of a multi-layered transaction involving the lenders under SF-Filter Group’s senior facilities agreement as well as funds advised by Equistone Partners Europe, SF-Filter Group’s former shareholders. Founded in 1968, the SF-Filter Group is a leading European distributor of filtration products for mobile equipment and industrial applications.

Homburger acted as legal advisor to Dr. Sara and Christoph Hürlimann in connection with this transaction.
