Georg Rauber elected new President of the Zurich Bar Association

Partner Georg Rauber, Head of Homburger’s IP / IT Practice Team, has been elected as the new President of the Zurich Bar Association (ZAV) at the ZAV Winter Assembly on November 26, 2010. Georg Rauber, previously Vice President, assumes office as of January 1, 2011, for two years and will thus continue a long-standing tradition of Homburger’s engagement in its professional organization.The Zurich Bar Association is the professional organization of the independent and self-employed attorneys-at-law in the Canton of Zurich. With more than 2,700 members, it forms the largest section of the Swiss Bar Association (SAV). The Zurich Bar Association provides services to the public and engages in maintaining the reputation and representing the interests of the attorneys, the promotion of continued education and the collegial association of its members as well as the enforcement of compliance with the professional rules of conduct.
