Homburger acted as counsel to MUFG Bank, Ltd. in its capacity as Bookrunning Mandated Lead Arranger, Coordinator, Documentation Coordinator and Facility Agent, and SMBC Bank International plc in its capacity as Bookrunning Mandated Lead Arranger and Coordinator in connection with ECOM Agroindustrial Corp. Limited’s inaugural JPY 25 bn Samurai loan. ECOM Agroindustrial is a global commodity merchant and processing company based in Switzerland.

Homburger advised MUFG Bank, Ltd. and SMBC Bank International plc as part of a syndicate of over 20 banks with regard to all Swiss legal aspects of the financing transaction.
