
Homburger advised Kimberly-Clark in the sale of its paper mill in Niederbipp (Switzerland)
On December 17, 2020, it was announced that Kimberly-Clark had agreed to sell its paper mill in Niederbipp (Canton of Berne) as well as the „Tela“ brand to the Queck family, a German family of entrepreneurs which already owns several paper producers, including Fripa Papierfabrik Albert Friedrich KG in Germany. Thanks to the sale, the paper mill, which is an important employer in the region, will continue to operate. Closing is scheduled for May 1, 2021.
Homburger advised Kimberly-Clark on the transaction.
