Homburger advised Helvetia Europe on its issuance of EUR 600 m 2.750% fixed to fixed rate guaranteed subordinated bonds due 2041

On June 30, 2020, Helvetia Europe (the Issuer) successfully completed the issuance of EUR 600 m 2.750% fixed to fixed rate guaranteed subordinated bonds due 2041 (the Bonds). The Bonds are regulatory capital instruments, qualifying as lower additional capital (unteres ergänzendes Kapital) pursuant to article 49(2) of the Federal Ordinance on the Supervision of Private Insurance Companies.

The Bonds are governed by Swiss law and have been listed on the Official List of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and admitted to trading on the Professional Segment of the Euro multilateral trading facility operated by the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
