Homburger advised Credit Suisse Group AG on its issuance of GBP 750 m bail-inable notes

On June 2, 2020, Credit Suisse Group AG (Credit Suisse) launched, and on June 9, 2020, successfully completed, the issuance of GBP 750 m 2.250 per cent. Fixed Rate Reset Senior Callable Notes due 2022 (the Notes) under its newly established Medium Term Note (MTN) Programme. The Notes are bail-inable bonds that are eligible to count towards Credit Suisse’s Swiss gone concern requirement.

The offering of the Notes was done in reliance on Regulation S under the U.S. Securities Act. The Notes have been provisionally admitted to trading, and application has been made for admission and listing of the Notes, on the SIX Swiss Exchange.
